SnowFree®

The SNOWFREE® heated pavement system was designed and developed to solve access and safety related problems associated with snow and ice buildup on pavement surfaces. The system features are:

  • Ice and snow are melted or prevented from adhering to the surface due to the heat generated from the unique "resistance" characteristic of the SNOWFREE® layer.
  • Once installed the SNOWFREE® heated pavement is maintenance free.
  • The system will last as long as the SNOWFREE® asphalt layer is undisturbed.
  • The system will perform to design specifications maintaining surfaces free of snow and ice accumulation.
  • All systems are safe and UL certified.
  • Operating power usage is relatively low at 20 - 45 watt/sq ft.
  • Installation cost is dependent on design parameters.
